Description
The Bazo sun lounger is a teak sun lounger on a fully welded stainless steel frame, powder-coated black and handmade in Sweden. The lying surface is slatted Grade A plantation teak, and the backrest locks into four fixed positions, from flat to fully reclined, without tools. Full dimensions are in the dropdown below.
The slats are the point: rain drains straight through and the surface dries on its own between uses, so the lounger is designed to stay out through the season. The frame is welded throughout, with no exposed bolts to work loose. A full-length cushion is included, upholstered in Agora Panama Marble, a 100% solution-dyed acrylic woven in Spain at 280 g/m². It is rated UPF 50+, carries a light fastness of 7 to 8 on the eight-point scale, and scores 5 out of 5 for colour fastness to chlorinated water, so poolside splash will not easily bleach it. The cover lifts off in seconds for drying or storage.
Bazo is designed by Alexandra Pettersson and welded and powder-coated in our own factory in Malmö. It arrives partly assembled and takes around ten minutes to finish. The warranty runs ten years, and repair beats replacement here, with spare parts available long after purchase.
“Bazo is the piece I designed for doing nothing. Teak slats so the rain has somewhere to go, a back that stops exactly where you want it, and nothing on it that needs looking after.”

Care & Maintenance
Fabric
Wipe down with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and neutral washing detergent. Do not use ph acidic or basic solutions like acetone or bleach.
Frame
Wipe with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and a normal cleaning agent. Refrain from using too acidic solutions as this will fade out the outer protection of the powder-coat.
Wood
Clean down with a microfibercloth, lukewarm water and a very neutral washing agent. Do NOT use acidic solutions.
Our Oak furniture is lacquered with an industrial lacquer that will fade over time. It is a protective layer. By using acidic solutions you will be removing this protection.
NEVER leave metal pans, pots or candleholders on top of an oak top. Oak naturally has tannic acids that will leave a black round mark if you leave metal objects on the surface.
Delivery, Returns & Assembly
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the size of your order, so you see the exact cost before you pay. A tracking link reaches you by email the moment your order leaves our factory in Malmö, Sweden.
Delivery time
Orders across Europe are delivered by UPS, normally 3 to 5 working days after dispatch. Made to order pieces are produced first, and that production time is shown on this page.
Assembly
Most of our furniture arrives fully assembled. Dining tables and some outdoor pieces arrive with the top and legs packed separately, and fitting them takes 5 to 10 minutes and one screwdriver.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return, provided the piece is unused and in its original condition. Email info@by-crea.com or open the chat and we will arrange it. Return shipping is paid by you at the carrier's actual rate, typically 15 to 20% of the order value, or roughly 30 to 90 EUR per package depending on size and destination. We confirm the exact amount in your own currency before anything is collected.
Custom orders
Anything configured through Design Your Own, with custom dimensions, finishes or materials, is produced specifically for your order and is not eligible for return. Order free samples first, or ask us in the chat, and we will help you get it right the first time.
FAQ
Yes. The stainless steel frame is powder-coated for year-round outdoor use and the Grade A teak is naturally weather resistant. The slatted surface drains rain and dries between uses, so Bazo is designed to stay out through the season.
Yes. A full-length cushion in Agora Panama Marble is included, a 100% solution-dyed acrylic woven in Spain at 280 g/m², rated UPF 50+ and abrasion tested to 20,000 Martindale, water repellent with a stain-resistant finish. It rests on the teak with no attachment hardware and lifts off in seconds.
The backrest locks into four fixed positions, from flat to fully reclined. No tools are needed to change it.
Very little. Left untreated the teak weathers to a silver-grey patina over one to two seasons. To keep the original warm tone, apply teak oil once or twice a season. Clean with mild soap and warm water.
Bazo arrives partly assembled and takes around ten minutes to finish. The frame joints are welded, so there are no structural bolts to tighten.
In our own factory in Malmö, Sweden. The frame is welded and powder-coated in house and every lounger is inspected by hand before it ships.
