Every stool is made in our own factory in Sweden: steel frames are welded and powder-coated, oak frames are machined and joined, and seats are upholstered by hand. Only the raw materials come from suppliers.

Every stool is covered by our 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, in normal home use.

Email info@by-crea.com with your order number and a few photos, and we will assess it with you. Spare parts are available, and the screw-mounted cushions on Freja and Svea can be replaced.

Your stool arrives fully assembled. Lift it out of the box and put it at the counter.

Which seat height fits your counter?
66 cm for most islands.
Most kitchen islands take a 66 cm seat and most bar counters a 76 cm seat. If your counter falls outside both ranges, our steel stools can be made at any seat height from 46 to 90 cm.

Frequently asked questions
Are metal bar stools good quality?
They can be excellent. Look for welded precision steel, a powder-coated finish and a stated load rating. Bolted joints and painted finishes are the usual weak points.
What steel are your bar stools made from?
Swedish precision steel tube to EN 10305-5, welded and powder-coated in our own factory in Sweden.
Do metal bar stools rust?
Not normally indoors, with an intact powder coating. Wipe spills dry and avoid leaving the stools standing in water.
Can I get a metal bar stool in a custom height?
Yes. Freja, Philip, Bruno and Svea can be made to a custom seat height, welded to order in Sweden.
Are metal bar stools cold?
Not with an upholstered seat. You sit on the cushion; the only metal you touch is the footrest, with your shoes.
