Five things worth knowing.
Size, comfort, oak or steel, fabric and placement.
67 to 71 cm wide, 81 to 82 cm deep.
Kent is 67 cm wide and 82 cm deep; Einar is 71 cm wide and 81 cm deep. Both are 70 cm high, low enough to sit under a window or beside a sofa without blocking the view across the room.
A low, deep seat and a full-height back.
Both armchairs are built for reading and lounging rather than upright sitting: a 38 cm seat, 53 cm of seat depth, armrests at 49 cm and a back cushion that runs the full height. The low seat is the point; if you need help getting up, a higher dining chair with armrests is the easier choice.

Warm solid oak, or slim black steel.
Einar's frame is solid oak in oak, dark oak or black oak, sealed with a matt lacquer that never needs oiling. Kent's frame is welded steel, powder-coated black, beige, white or taupe. Both carry the same cushions and the same 10-year warranty.
Vegan leather, velvet or bouclé.
Vegan leather wipes clean and is rated for 300,000 Martindale rubs. Velvet is the softest, at 130,000. Bouclé is the most textured, at 50,000, and is tested for pet claws to BS 8479. We do not re-cover armchairs, but cushions can be ordered separately through customer service.
By the light, angled to the room.
Put a reading chair where the daylight falls over your shoulder, with a small table within reach. In a living room, angle an armchair towards the sofa so people can talk without turning, and keep a clear path of about 90 cm past it.
