A dining table is where the house slows down. Ours are made in our own factory in Sweden, in solid oak or oak on a slim steel frame, 76 cm high and sized for the way you eat: 160 cm seats four, 240 cm six, 280 cm eight, and round Luna four or six. Every table carries a 10-year warranty.

Frequently asked questions
What size dining table do I need for six people?
240 cm on the long sides, or a 160 cm table that is 90 cm deep with a chair at each end. A 140 cm round Luna also seats six.
What is the standard height of a dining table?
Usually 72 to 76 cm. Ours are all 76 cm with a 3 cm top, which leaves 73 cm to the underside and fits every dining chair with a 46 to 50 cm seat.
Are your dining tables solid wood?
Yes. Ann is solid oak, top and legs. Diana, Melker and Luna have solid oak tops on black steel frames. We do not use veneer.
Do you make an extending dining table?
No. Choose the length you use most: 160, 240 or 280 cm. Ann can also be made to a custom fixed length on request.
How much space do I need around a dining table?
About 90 cm from the table edge to a wall or furniture, so a chair can be pulled out; 110 cm where people also walk behind.
Round or rectangular dining table?
Round for a square room and up to six people: Luna seats four at 110 cm and six at 140 cm. Rectangular for long rooms and more than six.
How do I look after an oak dining table?
Wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry it straight away. The matt lacquer protects the oak and never needs oiling; avoid standing water and furniture polish.

Count the people who eat at the table most weeks, not the guests who come twice a year, and allow about 60 cm of table edge each. Ann, Diana and Melker come in 160, 240 and 280 cm. We do not make an extending table, so choose the length you use most.

How high is a dining table?
76 cm, with a 3 cm top.
Most dining tables are 72 to 76 cm high. Ours are all 76 cm, with a 3 cm top. Pair them with a chair seat of 46 to 50 cm, which keeps 25 to 30 cm between seat and tabletop: every one of our dining chairs fits.

Round or rectangular?
Round for square rooms. Long for long rooms.
A round table puts everyone in the same conversation and suits a square room or a kitchen corner. A rectangle seats more, fits a long room and takes chairs at the ends. We make round Luna in 110 and 140 cm, and Ann, Diana and Melker as rectangles.

All oak, or oak on steel?
Solid oak, top and legs, or oak on a slim steel frame.
Ann is solid oak throughout, in oak, dark oak or black oak. Diana, Melker and Luna put a solid oak top on a black steel frame; Diana also comes with a Dekton sintered stone top in Grafite, Grigio or Sabbia, which resists heat and stains.

Will it fit your room?
Leave 90 cm behind every chair.
Measure the room, subtract 90 cm on every side where chairs stand, and what is left is the largest table that works. In a small room that is usually Ann at 160 cm or Luna at 110 cm. A 160 cm table that is 90 cm deep still seats six with a chair at each end.
