Description
Eva is a backless oak counter and bar stool that disappears completely under the counter. Rounded solid oak throughout, handcrafted in Sweden from FSC-certified German oak, in counter height (26 in / 66 cm) or bar height (30 in / 76 cm).
In natural oak, Eva is as quiet as furniture gets: rounded members of 20 to 30 mm, no back, no upholstery, nothing that argues with the room. Pushed in, nothing rises above the counter line; pulled out, it is a warm place to sit with an integrated footrest that makes the height easy to hold. A separate seat cushion is available as an add-on when you want the wood a little softer.
Like every by Crea original, Eva is designed by Alexandra Pettersson and handcrafted from solid FSC-certified German oak in our Malmö factory, and it arrives fully assembled. It is rated for up to 440 lb, the warranty runs ten years, and repair beats replacement here, with spare cushions and parts available long after purchase. Choose 26 in for counters of 35 to 36 in, 30 in for bars of 39 to 40 in. Full dimensions sit in the dropdown below, and stocked finishes ship from our Swedish factory within 1 to 5 business days.

Wood
Clean down with a microfibercloth, lukewarm water and a very neutral washing agent. Do NOT use acidic solutions.
Our Oak furniture is lacquered with an industrial lacquer that will fade over time. It is a protective layer. By using acidic solutions you will be removing this protection.
NEVER leave metal pans, pots or candleholders on top of an oak top. Oak naturally has tannic acids that will leave a black round mark if you leave metal objects on the surface.
Delivery, Returns & Assembly
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the size of your order, so you see the exact cost before you pay. A tracking link reaches you by email the moment your order leaves our factory in Malmö, Sweden.
Delivery time
Orders to the United States are delivered by UPS, normally 2 to 5 business days after dispatch. Made to order pieces are produced first, and that production time is shown on this page.
Assembly
Most of our furniture arrives fully assembled. Dining tables and some outdoor pieces arrive with the top and legs packed separately, and fitting them takes 5 to 10 minutes and one screwdriver.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return, provided the piece is unused and in its original condition. Email info@by-crea.com or open the chat and we will arrange it. Return shipping is paid by you at the carrier's actual rate, typically 15 to 20% of the order value, or roughly 35 to 100 USD per package depending on size and destination. We confirm the exact amount before anything is collected.
Custom orders
Anything configured through Design Your Own, with custom dimensions, finishes or materials, is produced specifically for your order and is not eligible for return. Order free samples first, or ask us in the chat, and we will help you get it right the first time.
FAQ
Match the counter: 26 in (66 cm) seats suit standard 36 in countertops, and 30 in (76 cm) seats suit bar counters 40-42 in high. A gap of 9-12 in between seat and top is the comfortable range.
For meals and everyday use, yes. Eva's solid oak seat is gently shaped and every edge softly rounded. If you want back support in the same oak style, Ebba adds a backrest bar.
The seat is solid oak as standard. A separate cushion in vegan leather or bouclé is available, so you can soften the seat now or later without replacing the stool.
Just wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap; the matte lacquer seals the wood, so avoid standing water and direct heat sources.
Eva slides completely under the counter and almost disappears in the room, which keeps small kitchens open. Solid oak also means it can be refreshed with light sanding and ongoing care.
