Edith is a garden dining chair with a welded stainless steel frame and black powder coat finish. The seat and backrest are built from Grade A teak slats. Edith has no armrests. The armrest-free design reduces the chair's footprint to 43 cm wide and allows more flexible arrangement around a table.
Edith requires partial assembly. Six screws are fitted on site and the process takes approximately five minutes. A cushion is available separately.
Key features:
Designed by Alexandra Pettersson. Produced in by Crea's own factory in Malmö, Sweden.
Seat height
Edith has a seat height of 46 cm (18.1 in). It is designed for standard dining tables with a height of 72–76 cm (28.3–29.9 in).
Recommended table heights
A table height of 72–76 cm (28.3–29.9 in) provides comfortable clearance between the seat and the underside of the tabletop. Check your table height before ordering.
Spacing
Edith has no armrests. Its width of 43 cm (16.9 in) allows chairs to be positioned closer together than armchair-style dining chairs. Allow at least 55 cm (21.7 in) per chair along the table. Add space behind each chair for pulling out and standing up comfortably.
Use environment
Edith is built for outdoor use. Stainless steel and teak withstand rain, sun, moisture, and temperature changes throughout the season. A chair cover is recommended during winter to extend the product's lifespan.
The Garden Dining Chair Edith is covered by a 10-year warranty. See our full guarantee terms and conditions for details.

Member access
Edith is constructed from welded stainless steel with a black powder coat finish. Welded joints provide a stronger structure than screwed alternatives and eliminate moving parts that can loosen over time. The powder coat bonds to the steel and does not require repainting or retreating. The seat and backrest are built from Grade A teak slats at even intervals. The absence of armrests reduces the chair's overall width and allows greater flexibility when arranging seating around a table.
Teak is one of the world's most weather-resistant timbers. It contains natural oils that protect against moisture, UV light, and rot without additional treatment. Untreated teak gradually develops a silver-grey patina. Regular teak oil preserves the original warm brown tone. Both finishes are durable and require minimal maintenance.
Key features:
→ Welded steel frame with black powder coat
→ Seat and backrest in Grade A teak slats
→ No armrests — compact and flexible placement
→ Stainless steel, corrosion resistant
→ 10-year warranty
