Description
Isabell is a steel dining chair with a backrest upholstered to full height, here in Jade Black vegan leather, handmade in Sweden for people who actually sit through dinner.
One color, two textures: matte steel and fine-grained leather in the same deep black. The full-height backrest supports your whole back through the longest dinners, the leather wipes clean with a damp cloth, and the tailored upholstery is fixed over a composite base built to keep its shape for years.
Like every by Crea original, Isabell is designed by Alexandra Pettersson and fully welded from raw Swedish steel in our Malmö factory, and it arrives fully assembled. It carries 440 lbs, the warranty runs ten years, and repair beats replacement here, with spare parts available long after purchase. It is sized for standard dining tables of 28 to 30 inches, with full dimensions in the dropdown below. This version ships in 1 to 5 days.

Care & Maintenance
Fabric
Wipe down with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and neutral washing detergent. Do not use ph acidic or basic solutions like acetone or bleach.
Frame
Wipe with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and a normal cleaning agent. Refrain from using too acidic solutions as this will fade out the outer protection of the powder-coat.
Delivery, Returns & Assembly
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the size of your order, so you see the exact cost before you pay. A tracking link reaches you by email the moment your order leaves our factory in Malmö, Sweden.
Delivery time
Orders to the United States are delivered by UPS, normally 2 to 5 business days after dispatch. Made to order pieces are produced first, and that production time is shown on this page.
Assembly
Most of our furniture arrives fully assembled. Dining tables and some outdoor pieces arrive with the top and legs packed separately, and fitting them takes 5 to 10 minutes and one screwdriver.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return, provided the piece is unused and in its original condition. Email info@by-crea.com or open the chat and we will arrange it. Return shipping is paid by you at the carrier's actual rate, typically 15 to 20% of the order value, or roughly 35 to 100 USD per package depending on size and destination. We confirm the exact amount before anything is collected.
Custom orders
Anything configured through Design Your Own, with custom dimensions, finishes or materials, is produced specifically for your order and is not eligible for return. Order free samples first, or ask us in the chat, and we will help you get it right the first time.
FAQ
Yes. Isabell is sized for standard dining tables 28-30 in (72-76 cm) high and tucks fully under the table between meals. Allow about 24 in (60 cm) of table width per chair, so a 6 ft (180 cm) table seats six.
One with a fully upholstered backrest. Isabell's backrest is padded to full height, so your whole back is supported through long dinners. If you want armrests at the table as well, look at the Sella.
We do not offer a re-covering service. The upholstery is tailored and fixed over a composite seat base, which helps the seat keep its shape for years, and seat parts are available separately, so a worn component can be replaced instead of the whole chair.
Wipe the upholstery with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft cloth, and the powder-coated steel frame with a damp cloth. The vegan leather carries an easy-clean protective finish.
No. Isabell suits oak, stone and painted tables alike, and a contrasting chair often looks more considered than a matched set. Many customers mix two Isabell colors around one table for a softer, layered look.
Yes. Order free samples of every fabric and color, or a full test chair with free returns, and test the comfort at your own table.
We do. Isabell is welded, powder-coated and upholstered in our own factory in Malmö, Sweden, certified by RISE, Sweden, to EN 16139 Level 2 for intensive commercial use, rated for a maximum load of 440 lbs (200 kg) and covered by a 10-year warranty.
