Description
Iris is a rectangular bedside table with a fully welded black steel frame, vegan leather straps and a black laminate top, handmade in Sweden and standing 64 cm tall, a classic nightstand height that lines up with many standard beds.
The leather straps are not decoration: they cradle the top and carry it on the steel frame, leaving an open shelf underneath for a book or a lamp, plus a drawer for the smaller things you want out of sight. All black keeps the piece quiet next to a dark headboard, and the laminate top wipes clean with a damp cloth.
Like every by Crea original, Iris is designed by Alexandra Pettersson, welded from raw Swedish steel and finished in our own factory in Malmö. Care & Maintenance
Fabric
Wipe down with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and neutral washing detergent. Do not use ph acidic or basic solutions like acetone or bleach.
Frame
Wipe with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and a normal cleaning agent. Refrain from using too acidic solutions as this will fade out the outer protection of the powder-coat.
Delivery, Returns & Assembly
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the size of your order, so you see the exact cost before you pay. A tracking link reaches you by email the moment your order leaves our factory in Malmö, Sweden.
Delivery time
Orders to the United States are delivered by UPS, normally 2 to 5 business days after dispatch. Made to order pieces are produced first, and that production time is shown on this page.
Assembly
Most of our furniture arrives fully assembled. Dining tables and some outdoor pieces arrive with the top and legs packed separately, and fitting them takes 5 to 10 minutes and one screwdriver.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return, provided the piece is unused and in its original condition. Email info@by-crea.com or open the chat and we will arrange it. Return shipping is paid by you at the carrier's actual rate, typically 15 to 20% of the order value, or roughly 35 to 100 USD per package depending on size and destination. We confirm the exact amount before anything is collected.
Custom orders
Anything configured through Design Your Own, with custom dimensions, finishes or materials, is produced specifically for your order and is not eligible for return. Order free samples first, or ask us in the chat, and we will help you get it right the first time.

Yes. Iris has an open circular shelf under the top for a book or a lamp, plus a drawer for smaller things you'd rather keep out of sight.
No. Pairing two identical nightstands is a common look, but mixing frame colors or tops across two Iris tables works just as well — many rooms look more considered with a slight variation between the two sides of the bed.
Yes, on the stone-top versions. The top is Dekton sintered stone, engineered for high resistance to everyday scratches, heat and stains. The laminate-top versions wipe clean but are not stone.
Wipe them with a damp cloth. The vegan leather is the same Valencia material we use on our seating, finished with a light protective coating so it handles everyday splashes and marks.
Yes. Iris Design Your Own lets you combine any frame color, leather strap color, and a top in Dekton sintered stone or laminate. Every configured table is made to order in our factory in Malmö.
