Description
Some stools hide their material. Ebba shows it. A solid oak counter and bar stool with an integrated wood backrest, handcrafted in Sweden from FSC-certified German oak, in counter height (26 in / 66 cm) or bar height (30 in / 76 cm).
The dark stain deepens the oak without hiding it: grain and structure stay visible under a muted, even surface that pairs with walnut tables and stone counters. The low wood back works as a handle as much as a support, footrest bars at several heights suit everyone at the island, and a separate seat cushion is available whenever you want softness without giving up the wood.
Like every by Crea original, Ebba is designed by Alexandra Pettersson and handcrafted from solid FSC-certified German oak in our Malmö factory, and it arrives fully assembled. It is rated for up to 440 lb, the warranty runs ten years, and repair beats replacement here, with spare cushions and parts available long after purchase. Choose 26 in for counters of 35 to 36 in, 30 in for bars of 39 to 40 in. Full dimensions sit in the dropdown below, and stocked finishes ship from our Swedish factory within 1 to 5 business days.

Wood
Clean down with a microfibercloth, lukewarm water and a very neutral washing agent. Do NOT use acidic solutions.
Our Oak furniture is lacquered with an industrial lacquer that will fade over time. It is a protective layer. By using acidic solutions you will be removing this protection.
NEVER leave metal pans, pots or candleholders on top of an oak top. Oak naturally has tannic acids that will leave a black round mark if you leave metal objects on the surface.
Delivery, Returns & Assembly
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the size of your order, so you see the exact cost before you pay. A tracking link reaches you by email the moment your order leaves our factory in Malmö, Sweden.
Delivery time
Orders to the United States are delivered by UPS, normally 2 to 5 business days after dispatch. Made to order pieces are produced first, and that production time is shown on this page.
Assembly
Most of our furniture arrives fully assembled. Dining tables and some outdoor pieces arrive with the top and legs packed separately, and fitting them takes 5 to 10 minutes and one screwdriver.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return, provided the piece is unused and in its original condition. Email info@by-crea.com or open the chat and we will arrange it. Return shipping is paid by you at the carrier's actual rate, typically 15 to 20% of the order value, or roughly 35 to 100 USD per package depending on size and destination. We confirm the exact amount before anything is collected.
Custom orders
Anything configured through Design Your Own, with custom dimensions, finishes or materials, is produced specifically for your order and is not eligible for return. Order free samples first, or ask us in the chat, and we will help you get it right the first time.
FAQ
The 26 in (66 cm) counter stool height suits islands and countertops around 36 in high; choose 30 in (76 cm) for bar counters 40-42 in. Aim for 9-12 in between the seat and the countertop.
Yes. Ebba's seat is shaped in solid oak, and the backrest bar supports your lower back while doubling as a handle for pulling the stool out from under the counter. Prefer an upholstered seat? The Ted bar stool combines the same oak with a sculpted bouclé seat.
Yes. The Ebba seat cushion is sold separately in vegan leather or bouclé, so you can add one at any time or refresh the look without replacing the stool.
Wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap. The matte lacquer seals the wood, so no oiling is needed; just avoid standing water and direct heat sources.
Every Ebba seat is rated for 440 lbs (200 kg). It is built from A-grade FSC-certified German oak and covered by a 10-year warranty.
