Description
Two colors on the title, one idea in the room. Bruno in Jade Black leather with matching sewn armrest covers is the completed version of our only steel counter and bar stool with armrests, handmade in Sweden in counter height (26 in / 66 cm), bar height (30 in / 76 cm) or any custom height through Design Your Own.
The sewn leather covers, closed with zippers over the steel armrests, put soft where your arms actually rest and keep the monochrome unbroken. Cushion and covers are wipeable vegan leather, made for the daily traffic of a kitchen island, and the integrated footrest completes a stool people do not hurry out of.
Designed by Alexandra Pettersson, Bruno is an original by Crea, fully welded from raw Swedish steel in our Malmö factory, and it arrives fully assembled. Rated for up to 440 lb and covered by our 10-year warranty, it is built to be repaired rather than replaced, with spare parts available long after purchase. The 26 in seat suits counters of 35 to 36 in, the 30 in seat suits bars of 39 to 40 in, with full dimensions in the dropdown below. Stocked finishes ship from our Swedish factory within 1 to 5 business days.

Fabric
Wipe down with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and neutral washing detergent. Do not use ph acidic or basic solutions like acetone or bleach.
Frame
Wipe with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and a normal cleaning agent. Refrain from using too acidic solutions as this will fade out the outer protection of the powder-coat.
Delivery, Returns & Assembly
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the size of your order, so you see the exact cost before you pay. A tracking link reaches you by email the moment your order leaves our factory in Malmö, Sweden.
Delivery time
Orders to the United States are delivered by UPS, normally 2 to 5 business days after dispatch. Made to order pieces are produced first, and that production time is shown on this page.
Assembly
Most of our furniture arrives fully assembled. Dining tables and some outdoor pieces arrive with the top and legs packed separately, and fitting them takes 5 to 10 minutes and one screwdriver.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return, provided the piece is unused and in its original condition. Email info@by-crea.com or open the chat and we will arrange it. Return shipping is paid by you at the carrier's actual rate, typically 15 to 20% of the order value, or roughly 35 to 100 USD per package depending on size and destination. We confirm the exact amount before anything is collected.
Custom orders
Anything configured through Design Your Own, with custom dimensions, finishes or materials, is produced specifically for your order and is not eligible for return. Order free samples first, or ask us in the chat, and we will help you get it right the first time.
FAQ
The same rule applies as for any stool: 26 in (66 cm) seats suit standard 36 in counters, and 30 in (76 cm) seats suit bars 40-42 in high. Keep 9-12 in between seat and countertop; custom heights are available via Design Your Own.
Yes, especially for longer sitting: armrests take the weight off your shoulders and make it easier to sit down and stand up. Bruno is our only steel bar stool with armrests, combined with an integrated backrest and footrest.
The seat upholstery is tailored and fixed to the stool. On two-tone versions, the leather armrest covers close with a sewn zipper and can be ordered as spare parts.
Wipe the upholstery with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft cloth, and the powder-coated frame with a damp cloth. The vegan leather has an easy-clean protective finish and is rated to 300,000 Martindale.
Allow 22-24 in of width per stool so the armrests never touch, and leave a couple of inches of clearance between the armrests and the counter edge when the stool is tucked in.

Bruno is named after our founder Alexandra Pettersson's father, who spent his working life in the family's steel factory. Every Bruno is made in our own factory in Malmö, Sweden, with a 10-year warranty.
