Description

Design your own Isabell: a steel dining chair with a backrest upholstered to full height, configured your way and made to order in Sweden.

Choose the upholstery in vegan leather, bouclé or velvet in your color, and pick one of four frame colors. The 3D preview shows your exact chair as you build it, and every combination is sewn and welded for that one order in our own factory.

Like every by Crea original, Isabell is designed by Alexandra Pettersson and fully welded from raw Swedish steel in our Malmö factory, and it arrives fully assembled. It carries 440 lbs, the warranty runs ten years, and repair beats replacement here, with spare parts available long after purchase. It is sized for standard dining tables of 28 to 30 inches, with full dimensions in the dropdown below. Your configuration is made to order and ships in 20 to 30 days.

The Isabell dining chair is covered by a 10-year warranty, and every seat is rated for a maximum load of 200 kg (440 lbs).

Its welded steel frame is tested and certified for intensive commercial use: it complies with EN 16139 Level 2, the European standard for heavy contract use, EN 1022 for stability and EN 1728 for strength and durability. Certified by RISE, Sweden.

Every fabric in the configurator is certified for demanding use: Valencia vegan leather, 300,000 Martindale with the PERMABLOK3 protective finish, EN 1021-1/2 fire safety and a 5-year fabric warranty; Matteo velvet, 130,000 Martindale, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, EN 1021-1; and Dolly bouclé, 50,000 Martindale, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, claw-safe tested to BS 8479.

Care & Maintenance

Fabric

Wipe down with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and neutral washing detergent. Do not use ph acidic or basic solutions like acetone or bleach.

Frame

Wipe with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and a normal cleaning agent. Refrain from using too acidic solutions as this will fade out the outer protection of the powder-coat.

FAQ

Yes. Isabell is sized for standard dining tables 28-30 in (72-76 cm) high and tucks fully under the table between meals. Allow about 24 in (60 cm) of table width per chair, so a 6 ft (180 cm) table seats six.

One with a fully upholstered backrest. Isabell's backrest is padded to full height, so your whole back is supported through long dinners. If you want armrests at the table as well, look at the Sella.

We do not offer a re-covering service. The upholstery is tailored and fixed over a composite seat base, which helps the seat keep its shape for years, and seat parts are available separately, so a worn component can be replaced instead of the whole chair.

Wipe the upholstery with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft cloth, and the powder-coated steel frame with a damp cloth. The vegan leather carries an easy-clean protective finish.

No. Isabell suits oak, stone and painted tables alike, and a contrasting chair often looks more considered than a matched set. Many customers mix two Isabell colors around one table for a softer, layered look.
