Description
Folke is the only outdoor bar stool in our range with armrests. A welded stainless steel frame wraps into a backrest and two rests for your elbows, handmade in Sweden for terraces, pool decks and outdoor bars, in counter height (66 cm / 26 in) and bar height (76 cm / 30 in).
The cushion is Sunproof Fontelina olefin in Dusk, a deep charcoal that reads almost black against the frame and keeps its depth through a season of sun. It is 100% solution-dyed olefin at 357 g/m², so the color runs through the fibre rather than sitting on the surface: weathering fastness of 7 to 8, tested to 1,500 hours of weatherability, 4 to 5 against pool and sea water, water repellency of 80, and certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and UV Standard 801. The armrests change how long people sit: elbows land, shoulders drop, and the outdoor bar turns into the seat everyone claims first.
Designed by Alexandra Pettersson and welded in our own factory in Malmö, Folke arrives fully assembled. It is 47 cm wide and 37 cm deep, standing 92 cm tall at counter height and 102 cm at bar height, with the armrests at 86 cm and 96 cm respectively. The 66 cm seat suits counters of 89 to 92 cm, the 76 cm seat suits bars of 99 to 102 cm. It carries 200 kg, is covered by our 10-year warranty and built to be repaired rather than replaced, with spare parts available long after purchase.

Care & Maintenance
Fabric
Wipe down with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and neutral washing detergent. Do not use ph acidic or basic solutions like acetone or bleach.
Frame
Wipe with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and a normal cleaning agent. Refrain from using too acidic solutions as this will fade out the outer protection of the powder-coat.
Delivery, Returns & Assembly
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the size of your order, so you see the exact cost before you pay. A tracking link reaches you by email the moment your order leaves our factory in Malmö, Sweden.
Delivery time
Orders to the United States are delivered by UPS, normally 2 to 5 business days after dispatch. Made to order pieces are produced first, and that production time is shown on this page.
Assembly
Most of our furniture arrives fully assembled. Dining tables and some outdoor pieces arrive with the top and legs packed separately, and fitting them takes 5 to 10 minutes and one screwdriver.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return, provided the piece is unused and in its original condition. Email info@by-crea.com or open the chat and we will arrange it. Return shipping is paid by you at the carrier's actual rate, typically 15 to 20% of the order value, or roughly 35 to 100 USD per package depending on size and destination. We confirm the exact amount before anything is collected.
Custom orders
Anything configured through Design Your Own, with custom dimensions, finishes or materials, is produced specifically for your order and is not eligible for return. Order free samples first, or ask us in the chat, and we will help you get it right the first time.
FAQ
The 66 cm seat suits counters of 89 to 92 cm, the 76 cm seat suits bars of 99 to 102 cm. Allow roughly 20 to 30 cm between the seat and the underside of the counter.
Usually yes. The armrests sit at 86 cm on the counter-height stool and 96 cm on the bar-height one, so both clear the counter they are matched to. Measure the underside of your overhang if it is unusually low.
Yes. The frame is powder-coated stainless steel rated for permanent outdoor exposure, and the Sunproof Fontelina olefin cushion is tested to 1,500 hours of weatherability and certified to UV Standard 801.
Very little. The olefin is solution-dyed, so the colour runs through the fibre rather than sitting on the surface, and it holds a weathering fastness of 7 to 8 on the eight-point scale.
Mild soap and warm water on a cloth. The fabric is water repellent and dries quickly, so rain needs no action at all.
Yes. Take the cushion off, wash it cool on a gentle cycle and let it air dry rather than tumble drying, which is all olefin asks for.
