Add that to the table. A 160 x 90 cm table with 90 cm on all sides wants a 340 x 270 cm space. If you do not have it, the table is too big, not the chairs.
How much room around the table?
Ninety centimetres from table edge to wall so a chair pulls out. One hundred and ten if people walk behind seated guests.
Which size in a small room?
Ann 160 cm, four seats, or six with the ends. Luna 110 cm, four seats, no corners.
Skip 240 and 280 unless the room is long and narrow and the 90 cm sits on the short sides only. Custom width on Ann or Diana can slim a galley; it does not invent floor behind the chairs.
Round or rectangle when the room is tight?
Round in a square. Rectangle in a galley.
Luna 110 cm plus walk space is a circle. Ann 160 cm uses a corridor. Do not put a 140 cm round in a 220 cm-wide room and expect 90 cm behind every chair.
The extender temptation
We do not make one. A leaf you open twice a year still occupies daily floor if the closed size is 160 cm and you already have no 90 cm gap.
If Christmas is the only eight-person night, six at 160 cm with the ends, or a second folding table from a cupboard, is more honest than a mechanism we do not weld.
Measure the pull-out, then the table
- Ann 160
- four, or six with the ends
- Luna 110
- four, no corners
- 240 cm
- not a small-room default
