10 YEAR WARRANTY

At by Crea, we build furnitures intended to be owned for a long time. A 10-year warranty is not a promise that materials will never change. It is a clear commitment to responsibility: if something fails because of how it was made, we will put it right.

What our warranty covers

What our warranty covers

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship in by Crea products, under normal residential use, during the warranty period.

If a defect covered by this warranty occurs, by Crea will, at its discretion:

- repair the product, or
- replace the defective part, or
- replace the product with the same or a comparable product if repair is not reasonable.

The aim is always the most responsible outcome for the object and the owner. Where repair can restore the intended function and finish, repair is preferred.

Examples of covered defects (when caused by manufacturing)
- structural failures in frames, joints, fixings, or load-bearing elements
- faults in assembly that affect stability, alignment, or function
- finish issues caused by incorrect preparation or application
- material defects that are not consistent with normal variation or natural aging

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship in by Crea products, under normal residential use, during the warranty period. It applies from the date your product is delivered.

A warranty is not a promise that natural materials will never change. Wood will age, finishes will develop patina, and surfaces will show signs of use over time. This is expected. The warranty exists for a different reason: if something fails because of how it was made, we take responsibility for correcting it.

If a replacement is necessary and the original product is no longer available, we may offer a comparable product of similar value and function.

Examples of covered defects (when caused by manufacturing)
-structural failures in frames, joints, fixings, or load-bearing elements
- faults in assembly that affect stability, alignment, or function
- hardware failure that prevents normal use (where hardware is part of the original construction)
- finish issues caused by incorrect preparation or application
- material defects that are not consistent with normal variation or natural aging

If you’re unsure whether an issue is covered, you can still contact us. A short description and a few clear photos are usually enough for an initial assessment.

How to make a warranty claim

How to make a warranty claim

To start a warranty claim, please complete our warranty request form. You’ll be asked to provide enough detail for a clear assessment.

Include:
- proof of purchase (order confirmation, receipt, or invoice)
- product name and, if applicable, serial/production information
- a short description of the issue
- clear photos showing the full product and close-ups of the defect
- delivery address and contact details

Claims should be submitted within a reasonable time after the issue is discovered. Continued use after a defect is identified may worsen the condition and can affect the assessment.

If additional information is needed (for example measurements, extra photos, or a short video), we will request it.

What happens next
Once your claim is received, by Crea will assess whether the issue is covered by the warranty. If approved, we will decide the appropriate remedy: repair, part replacement, or replacement.

Where repair is possible, we will arrange repair through by Crea or an approved partner. If a replacement is necessary and the original product is no longer available, we may offer a comparable replacement of similar value and function.

Any replaced parts or products become the property of by Crea unless otherwise agreed.

This warranty does not provide entitlement to refunds, price reductions, or compensation beyond the remedy described above, except where required by mandatory law.
