Black outlines the table and grounds a bed with a dark frame or a dark headboard. It is the stronger choice in a large room or against a coloured wall.
White or black?
White disappears against white walls and bedding and makes a small bedroom feel lighter. It suits a pale wood floor and a white or upholstered bed.
Which colours do you make?
| Table | Colours |
|---|---|
| Iris | Frame black, white or beige; top black or white laminate, or Dekton stone |
| Lisa | Black frame; top natural, dark or black oak; straps Sand, Jade Black or Chocolate |
| Affe | Natural, dark or black oak |
Beige or oak?
Beige Iris is the soft middle: warmer than white, lighter than black, with a white top on a beige frame reading calm next to linen bedding.
Oak brings warmth that no paint does. Natural oak with a light floor, dark oak with walnut tones, black oak where you want black that still shows grain.
Does it have to match the bed?
Match or contrast clearly. A black Iris beside a black bed reads as a set. A natural oak Affe beside a white bed is a deliberate contrast. What looks wrong is nearly matching: two slightly different whites, or two oaks a shade apart.
