Five things worth knowing.
Use, height, finish, placement and warranty.
One vase or object, given a place of its own.
Affe is closer to a plinth than a table. Set a vase or an object on its round top, or place it beside an armchair as a sculptural piece that can hold the occasional book. It is not made for regular dining or desk use.
59 cm or 79 cm, with a 30 or 40 cm round top.
Affe comes in two heights: 59 cm with a 30 cm round top, or 79 cm with a 40 cm round top. Both share the same turned, cylindrical form, so the two together read as a pair.
| Model | Height | Top |
|---|---|---|
| Affe | 59 cm | ø30 cm |
| Affe | 79 cm | ø40 cm |
One form in three finishes.
Natural oak keeps the pale grain under a natural matte lacquer. Dark oak is stained tobacco-brown with Osmo, a warmer, older-feeling version of the same form. Black oak is the most graphic: the black stain leaves the grain visible, so it reads almost sculptural across a room and unmistakably wood up close.
Beside an armchair, in an empty corner, next to a bed.
Affe stands beside an armchair or a sofa, in an empty corner or a hall, or next to a bed with a small bowl on top. One vase or one object on the round top is enough.
Solid oak, a 10-year warranty, and spare parts for years.
Affe is handcrafted from solid A-grade FSC-certified oak in our own factory in Malmö, and the warranty runs ten years. Repair beats replacement: spare parts are available long after purchase.
