Backless stools with a slim frame: Eva in solid oak or Svea with an upholstered seat on a steel frame.
Both have 38 cm seats, slide completely under a standard counter and keep a small kitchen open. At 50 cm per stool, the spacing we recommend for slim seats, three fit along a 150 cm island.

What if my island is not a standard height?
Choose a custom seat height on one of our steel models, Freja, Philip, Bruno or Svea.
Islands of 93 to 98 cm, common with thick stone tops, fall between the two standard heights; as a rule of thumb, the seat is the counter height minus 23 to 26 cm, for example 70 cm for a 95 cm island.

What should I check before buying island stools?
Check five measurements: the island's height to the underside of the worktop, the seating length, the overhang, the floor space behind, and whether any supports or rails sit under the overhang.
Together they decide the seat height, the number of stools and whether armrests will fit.
