Description
Ann is a solid oak dining table with no metal in sight, here in a black oak finish, handcrafted in Sweden from A-grade FSC-certified German oak and available in three lengths: 160, 240 and 280 cm, seating up to four, six or eight.
All black, all natural: the stain leaves the grain visible, so the table reads graphic across the room and unmistakably wooden at the fingertips, a way to run an all-dark dining room without the table itself feeling cold or manufactured. The black stain is sealed with a natural matte lacquer that keeps the oak feeling like oak, and daily care stays simple: a damp cloth and mild soap, no oiling needed.
Like every by Crea original, Ann is designed by Alexandra Pettersson and handcrafted from solid FSC-certified German oak in our own factory in Malmö. The warranty runs ten years, and repair beats replacement here, with spare parts available long after purchase. Full dimensions for every length are in the dropdown below. Care & Maintenance
Wood
Clean down with a microfibercloth, lukewarm water and a very neutral washing agent. Do NOT use acidic solutions.
Our Oak furniture is lacquered with an industrial lacquer that will fade over time. It is a protective layer. By using acidic solutions you will be removing this protection.
NEVER leave metal pans, pots or candleholders on top of an oak top. Oak naturally has tannic acids that will leave a black round mark if you leave metal objects on the surface.
Delivery, Returns & Assembly
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the size of your order, so you see the exact cost before you pay. A tracking link reaches you by email the moment your order leaves our factory in Malmö, Sweden.
Delivery time
Orders across Europe are delivered by UPS, normally 3 to 5 working days after dispatch. Made to order pieces are produced first, and that production time is shown on this page.
Assembly
Most of our furniture arrives fully assembled. Dining tables and some outdoor pieces arrive with the top and legs packed separately, and fitting them takes 5 to 10 minutes and one screwdriver.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return, provided the piece is unused and in its original condition. Email info@by-crea.com or open the chat and we will arrange it. Return shipping is paid by you at the carrier's actual rate, typically 15 to 20% of the order value, or roughly 30 to 90 EUR per package depending on size and destination. We confirm the exact amount in your own currency before anything is collected.
Custom orders
Anything configured through Design Your Own, with custom dimensions, finishes or materials, is produced specifically for your order and is not eligible for return. Order free samples first, or ask us in the chat, and we will help you get it right the first time.
FAQ
Ann stands 76 cm tall, the classic dining height that works with standard chairs (seat height around 45–48 cm). All other dimensions for every length are in the dropdown below.
As a rule of thumb: the 160 cm table seats up to four, the 240 cm seats six, and the 280 cm seats eight. If your chairs have armrests, plan a little extra elbow room per seat.
A damp cloth and mild soap is all the daily care Ann needs. The oak is sealed with a natural matte lacquer, so no oiling or waxing is ever required. Wipe up standing liquid rather than letting it sit.
Choose a rug that extends at least 60–70 cm beyond the tabletop on every side, so chairs stay on the rug even when pulled out. For the 160 cm Ann that means roughly 250 × 290 cm or larger.
Leave about 90 cm between the table edge and the nearest wall or furniture, so chairs can be pulled out and people can walk behind them. The exact tabletop dimensions for every length are in the dropdown below.
