If you want the word marble in the title, this is the wrong table. If you want a dense mineral top that takes a mug, this is the table.
Is it marble?
No. Marble is a natural stone that stains and etches. Dekton is sintered: it is not a film and it is not marble-effect laminate.
What does sintered stone take in daily life?
Heat, a wet ring, and keys better than oak or a painted top. Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not seal it. Do not promise indestructible: a point impact can still chip an edge, and a claim goes through the usual process.
A trivet is still civilised under a pan from the oven. Coasters are optional for condensation, useful for clutter.
Which colour?
Sabbia is the sandy beige, Grigio the mid grey, Grafite the near-black.
In several markets colour search on this category beats material search once you strip marble and glass we do not sell. Pick the frame (black, white, beige, taupe on Design Your Own) and the stone together. Samples of the three stones exist. Order them before a large top.
Stone or oak?
Stone if the table is a landing for food and remotes. Oak on Leo if you want grain and will use coasters.
Anton bestsellers are stone. Leo Design Your Own offers oak. Indoor oak is lacquered. Standing water is the oak risk, not a fingerprint.
