Description
The Bazo garden day bed is a double outdoor daybed built for two, on a welded stainless steel frame powder-coated black with a slatted Grade A teak surface. Each side has its own backrest with four positions, so one person can sit up and read while the other lies flat. Full dimensions are in the dropdown below.
The canopy and the cushions are Sunproof Fontelina olefin in Oat, a 100% solution-dyed olefin at 357 g/m², certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and UV Standard 801, with a weathering fastness of 7 to 8 and 1,500 hours of tested weatherability. The canopy adjusts to three positions and lifts off completely when you want open sky. Cushions are included, a full-length cushion and a round pillow for each side, all water repellent and made for year-round outdoor use. The teak slats drain rain and dry between uses, so the bed is designed to stay outside through the season.
Bazo is designed by Alexandra Pettersson and welded and powder-coated in our own factory in Malmö. It arrives partly assembled and takes around fifteen minutes to finish. The warranty runs ten years, and repair beats replacement here, with spare parts available long after purchase.

Durability & Certifications
Care & Maintenance
Fabric
Wipe down with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and neutral washing detergent. Do not use ph acidic or basic solutions like acetone or bleach.
Frame
Wipe with a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and a normal cleaning agent. Refrain from using too acidic solutions as this will fade out the outer protection of the powder-coat.
Wood
Clean down with a microfibercloth, lukewarm water and a very neutral washing agent. Do NOT use acidic solutions.
Our Oak furniture is lacquered with an industrial lacquer that will fade over time. It is a protective layer. By using acidic solutions you will be removing this protection.
NEVER leave metal pans, pots or candleholders on top of an oak top. Oak naturally has tannic acids that will leave a black round mark if you leave metal objects on the surface.
Delivery, Returns & Assembly
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the size of your order, so you see the exact cost before you pay. A tracking link reaches you by email the moment your order leaves our factory in Malmö, Sweden.
Delivery time
Orders across Europe are delivered by UPS, normally 3 to 5 working days after dispatch. Made to order pieces are produced first, and that production time is shown on this page.
Assembly
Most of our furniture arrives fully assembled. Dining tables and some outdoor pieces arrive with the top and legs packed separately, and fitting them takes 5 to 10 minutes and one screwdriver.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return, provided the piece is unused and in its original condition. Email info@by-crea.com or open the chat and we will arrange it. Return shipping is paid by you at the carrier's actual rate, typically 15 to 20% of the order value, or roughly 30 to 90 EUR per package depending on size and destination. We confirm the exact amount in your own currency before anything is collected.
Custom orders
Anything configured through Design Your Own, with custom dimensions, finishes or materials, is produced specifically for your order and is not eligible for return. Order free samples first, or ask us in the chat, and we will help you get it right the first time.
