An oak coffee table from us is solid oak, not a veneer face. Leo takes oak on Design Your Own in ø70, ø80 or ø95 cm at 42.5, 47.5 or 52.5 cm. Finishes: oak, dark oak, black oak. Anton is stone on the bestsellers; oak is a Design Your Own top.

Oak coffee table is a material search, and a lot of what it lands on is a thin oak face over chipboard. We do not do that. Leo is a round table whose top can be solid oak, the same timber as our oak chairs and dining tables. This guide is which diameter, which finish, how oak lives with cups, and when sintered stone is the better top. Frames are welded in Sweden.

Is it solid oak or veneer?

Solid oak. The top is timber, lacquered, with the grain still showing on dark and black. It is not a paper oak print and it is not marble.

Anton bestsellers ship with Dekton sintered stone. Oak on Anton is a Design Your Own top, same three finishes. If you searched oak, start with Leo.

Which size oak coffee table?

Match height to the sofa seat, or sit a few centimetres lower. Leo Large at 52.5 cm is the tall one; it is not the default next to a low sofa. Round oak is Leo. A long sofa that wants a rectangle is Anton, usually in stone.

Oak, dark oak or black oak?

Natural oak is the brightest and shows crumbs least. Dark oak is the tobacco-brown people mean by dark wood coffee table. Black oak is graphic, grain still visible, and pairs with a black steel frame.

The same three finishes run through our oak chairs, benches and dining tables, so a set can match. Order wood samples. Colour on a screen is a guess.

How do you look after an oak coffee table?

A barely damp cloth, then dry. No standing water, no silicone polish, no hot pan on the lacquer.

A coaster is cheaper than a ring. Spills wiped the same hour do not mark. If you live on the table with plates and keys every day, sintered stone is the more honest top; oak is for a quieter surface.

Oak or stone?

Oak if you want grain and a warmer room. Stone if cups, remotes and homework live on it. Dekton does not stain or need sealing. It is not marble.

You can nest two oak Leos, or mix an oak Leo with a stone Anton, if the frames match. Mixed frames look like two orders.
